BETTER DAYS COMIN' is the highly anticipated new album from WINGER! Brand new studio album from these classic hard rockers. Once again Winger offers an exciting mixture of the melodic and commercial approach of their first two albums with the more technical and almost progressive rock feel of such albums as "Pull" or "IV". Better Days Comin'" is a logical follow up to the critically acclaimed "Karma", which was hailed as one of the band's best releases ever. Better Days Comin'" is an amazing new record where the four band.

Better Days Comin' " itself is an unaspiring party anthem with a chorus so lacking in shame it's beyond words. Ever Wonder " and " Be Who You Are, Now " risks to drag the album back to the realm of previously mentioned sappy MTV-ballads it so crying and screaming tries to crawl away from. The closer track " Out of This World " is a decent rock ballad with some cool guitar shredding. The song is however somewhat ruined by the brittleness of the acoustic guitars. The song reminds me of a few songs by Harem Scarem
Despite the fact that Better Days Comin' doesn't quite hit the brilliant heights of their previous album Karma, Winger have given fans a strong album that delivers everything you love about this highly musical group of rock survivors. I will start with my bias: I am a "new" Winger fan who started listening to the group when Karma came out. I knew a few songs from the 80's and 90's, but nothing extensive. I now own the entire Winger collection, and have seen them live. With that said, the best way I can describe this album is a mix between IV and a little heavier version of Karma. Does that make sense? It has many moments of the progressive rock sound of IV, but at the same time, it has some very heavy rockers that are even deeper than the heaviest in Karma, but similar.
