Composed By – Franz Liszt. 6. Fantaisie - Impromptu Opus 66. Composed By – Frédéric Chopin. 7. Nocturne Opus 9 N°1. Art Direction, Engineer – Jean-Martial Golaz. Concert Grand Piano – Jean-Christophe Millot.

Frédéric Chopin's Fantaisie-Impromptu (Polish: Fantazja-Impromptu) in C♯ minor Op. posth. 66 is a solo piano composition. It was composed in 1834 and published posthumously in 1855 despite Chopin's instruction that none of his unpublished manuscripts be published. The Fantaisie-Impromptu is one of Chopin's most frequently performed and popular compositions.

Frédéric Chopin's Fantaisie in F minor, Op. 49, is a single-movement work for the piano, composed in 1841, when he was 31 years old. From Chopin's letters it is known that he used the name "fantasy" to show some sort of freedom from rules and give a Romantic expression. Frédéric Chopin continued the tradition of a self-contained movement in his Fantaisie. This Fantaisie is one of Chopin's longest and greatest works. Only his Polonaise-Fantaisie, sonatas, and piano concertos are longer.

Apparently Schubert was influenced in writing these pieces by the Impromptus, Opus 7, of the Czech composer Jan Václav Voříšek (1791 - 1825) and by the music of Voříšek's teacher Václav Tomášek (1774 - 1850). Franz Schubert (1797 - 1828) was an Austrian composer. He wrote over six hundred lieder (songs), nine symphonies (including the famous Unfinished Symphony), liturgical music, operas, some incidental music, numerous pieces of chamber music, and a large body of solo piano music.

3 pieces (titles in italics are probably not by Liszt). Il lamento (A♭ major). La leggierezza (F minor). Un sospiro (D♭ major). Trois grandes études de concert ; Trois Caprices Poétiques.

Chopin wrote his Fantaisie-Impromptu in 1834 and deducated it to Julian Fontana, who published the piece despite Chopin's explicit request not to do so. The Fantasie-Impromptu draws many elements from Beethoven so called Moonlight Sonata, also in C sharp minor. It has been said that the piece is a rare instance in which a genius discloses what he actually hears in the music of other genius.
