Exclusively for Prime members. Sample this album Artist (Sample). I'm simply compelled to speak of the musical majesty of Big Wreck. You have to hear this album to really get the gist of what I mean about the bands above. This album is like a master's thesis as to what good rock should aspire to be. Grace Street sounds more c to me than their previous couple of records which pleasantly delivers you, the listener, to their world as all the while you're being swept up in their unmistakable and galvanizing sound
Although Big Wreck originated in Boston, many critics online regard them as a Canadian band. When they regrouped in twenty ten, the three vacant spots were filled by Canadian musicians. So the quintet has four Canadians and one American in their lineup. They've only achieved meager success in the states and abroad. All five of their albums were hits in Canada and Grace Street reached number five on the Canadian Albums Chart. The music doesn't sound too original, but most of their past material never has anyway. Their discography has gradually lost intensity and this is a disappointing album compared to their previous releases. With Grace Street, Big Wreck is drifting in the direction of jazz rock. Other productions from Big Wreck.
On their latest album, ‘Grace Street’, the band present a more organic sounding album while still delivering the punch of their best work. The album opens beautifully with Thornley’s shining voice over delayed guitars on It Comes As No Surprise. Ian Thornley seems to have really found his voice with Big Wreck many years after its inception. He shows no fear or restriction in his ideas and as a result, every album is expressive, adventurous, and always exciting to listen to. If the definition of Prog has indeed evolved from long keyboard solos and capes to music that refuses boundaries, than Big Wreck are definitely worthy of recognition from any Prog fan.
Ghosts is the fourth studio album by Canadian rock band Big Wreck. The album was announced on April 8, 2014, with the title track "Ghosts" being released as the album's lead single the same day. At a length of nearly 70 minutes, it is Big Wreck's longest album to date. The album was nominated for "Rock Album of the Year" at the 2015 Juno Awards. The album debuted at on the Canadian Albums Chart, selling 4,000 copies in its first week.

Big Wreck is a Canadian-American rock band formed by Ian Thornley in Boston, Massachusetts in 1994. They disbanded in 2002 and Ian Thornley pursued a solo career with his own band Thornley. In 2010, Ian Thornley and Brian Doherty reunited for a cross-Canada tour, playing both Big Wreck and Thornley songs. In 2012, under the name Big Wreck, the band released their third studio album, Albatross. The band has since released the albums Ghosts in 2014 and Grace Street in 2017.
Grace Street is the fifth studio album by Canadian rock band Big Wreck, released on February 3, 2017. The single proved more successful than the previous album's lead single "Ghosts", charting high on two different rock charts in Canada in its first week of airplay
I dislike the route Big Wreck is going. Once I heard Albatross I knew there was something changing, but didn't mind it. Then Ghosts was released and I became a bit wary of what's to come and what came was Grace Street. It's tough to classify this as rock, but luckily there were songs such as Tomorrow Down, Diggin In (which alternates from Hard Rock to very poppy), Skybunk Marché and You Don't Even Know for the older fans. I was not pleased with about half the album and the other half was.
