Grace is the only studio album by Jeff Buckley, released on August 23, 1994. While the album initially had poor sales, peaking at number 149 in the .

The Grace EPs collects five foreign and/or promotional EPs that were released around the same time as Buckley's only finished studio album. These releases, several of which were never intended to be sold to the public, showcase Buckley's incredible talent as a live performer. In fact, the early Live at Sin-é EP is as good a point of reference for much of this material as the post- Grace live albums Mystery White Boy and Live à l'Olympia.

But it does contain five EPs that use his Grace album as the nominal touchstone, all of which are now collectable and sought-after as listeners strive for every scrap of Buckley's legacy. The others were imports: Last Goodbye came out in Japan, Live From the Bataclan in France, and The Grace EP in Australia.

There's no doubting the quality of the live performances by Jeff here, excellent as always, but nevertheless 'The Grace EPs' was a poorly handled cash-in release that would have benefitted from more attention to detail across the board. Rushed out and thoughtless, it wastes its running time in a variety of ways, most notably in the selection of tracks.The inclusion of the album versions of Mojo Pin and Grace (on the 'Peyote Radio Theatre' and 'Grace' EPs, respectively) are redundant for anyone who owns the original album Grace, which is surely anyone who will buy these EPs. The inclusion of the 4'19" radio edit of Last Goodbye is a nice touch, but one that should have been replicated with the 4'57" radio edit of Grace, which featured on the Austrian and Australian Grace EPs (see: https://www.discogs.com/Jeff-Buckley-Grace/release/1309796), instead of the album version.Including two identical, 14-minute long versions of Kanga-Roo is frankly ridiculous. And the repetition continues: Ultimately the set includes three different versions of Dream Brother, three versions of Mojo Pin, three versions of Grace, and two versions of Hallelujah. Bizarrely, the energetic, studio 'Road Version' of Eternal Life from the EP of the same name (https://www.discogs.com/Jeff-Buckley-Eternal-Life/master/81026) - perhaps the key track Jeff ever recorded for an EP release - is missing here. Also missing, incredibly, are the three 'live in Japan' acoustic tracks released on EPs, which offer a rare chance to hear Jeff performing a trio of songs acoustically. Even with the context of Jeff's extremely limited body of released material, this poor, over-priced release could have been handled far better.
