The pteranodon is a fast and versatile flying mount useful for traveling and scouting, though not always the ideal choice for battle. Knocking a pteranodon out doesn't take much, but can still be a challenge since it will immediately flee after being attacked. Once knocked out, taming is quite easy in comparison to other creatures, and with its low saddle requirements, this makes it an especially popular creature for newer survivors while still being versatile enough for more experienced survivors. What the pterandon lacks in stamina, weight, and health, it makes up with its speed
Pteranodon is the brainchild of Jeff Suthers and Shannon Stein, former members of Volplane and Bright Channel, and current members of Moonspeed. With only one organ and one guitar, Pteranodon was designed to be a lush and gigantic listening experience that combined their love of minimalist musical styles with their equal appreciation for maximum volumes. Their self-titled debut album was released in 2001 on Flight Approved Records, with a follow-up released in June 2005.
Pteranodon is the brainchild of Jeff Suthers and Shannon Stein, former members of Volplane and Bright Channel and current members of Moonspeed. in the fall of 2000, after the departure of Volplane's drummer, Jeff and Shannon set out to pursue an ambient musical venture that combined their love of minimalist musical styles with their equal appreciation for maximum volumes. With only one organ and one guitar, Pteranodon was designed to be a lush (but gigantic) listening experience, both live and on disc. Sites: flightapproved.
Pteranodon is a large flying reptile. When it spread its wings, it could reach from the front to the back of a school bus. It did not have feathers, but rather had a basal type of integument along the same lineage from which feathers evolved, called pycnofibers. Pycnofibers were very hair-like in appearance and, like hair, were made of keratin.
