I dreamed I saw Joe Hill last night Alive as you or me Says I, But Joe, you're ten years dead I never died, says he I never died, says he. In Salt Lake, Joe, says I to him Him standing by my bed They framed you on a murder charge Says Joe, But I ain't dead Says Joe, But I ain't dead. The copper bosses killed you, Joe They shot you, Joe, says I Takes more than guns to kill a man Says Joe, I didn't die Says Joe, I didn't die. And standing there as big as life And smiling with his eyes Joe says, What they forgot to kill Went on to organize Went on to organize

I dreamed I saw a mighty room Filled with women and men And the paper they were signing said They'd never fight again. And when the paper was all signed And a million copies made They all joined hands and bowed their heads And grateful prayers were prayed. And the people in the streets below Were dancing 'round and 'round While swords and guns and uniforms Were scattered on the ground. Last night I had the strangest dream I'd never dreamed before I dreamed the world had all agreed To put an end to war. More on Genius
Paul Bunyan is a fictional giant lumberjack. James MacGillivray wrote about Bunyan in 1910, which is the earliest writing about Bunyan that we know about. A few years later, in 1916, William Laughead was writing an advertisement, and decided to use Bunyan in what he was writing, and decided to make him a giant. James Stevens wrote a book called Paul Bunyan in 1925.
