Neon is the fourth full-length album from American progressive metalcore band Erra. It is the band's second album with former Texas in July vocalist . Cavey and the first album produced by Beau Burchell and Taylor Larson. It was released by Sumerian Records on August 10, 2018. Cavey – unclean vocals, backing clean vocals. Cavey joined in 2016 to replace former front man Ian Eubanks after the latter joined following the departure of former front man Garrison Lee. Neon Q&A.
I was first introduced to Erra via their third studio album entitled "Drift", it really stuck out to me over competitors such as Phinehas, Wage War and to an extent Northlane in their little Progressive Metalcore bubble. The album was technical, chuggy, but was also very beautiful and emotive. Drift continues to grow on me as it stands.
