Herbie Mann at the Village Gate is a 1961 live album by jazz flutist Herbie Mann which was his third album for Atlantic Records, the main label for much of his career. The album was recorded at legendary club The Village Gate.

I have several LP's including the one "Live at the Hollywood Bowl". This recorded live at the Village Gate is really good. His rendition of 'Chase the Clouds Away' with the vocals is one of the best I've heard. Along with his version of 'Bellavia' really good. This album would, I suspect, appeal to many: This smokes and rocks and grooves all at once with lots of light and shade for a complete experience. The sound of the band is phenomonal and recorded superbly.
