The Very Best In You. Written-By – Herb Smith, Mauro Malavasi. 7. Hard Times (It's Gonna Be Alright). Written-By – Davide Romani, Alfonso Thornton, Jacques Fred Petrus, Mauro Malavasi. Some great tracks from a great band but lots of omissions and why they chose to the short versions of the first three songs is beyond me when everyone knows disco is best in its long versions. By Rob Hughes (Classic Rock) 2019-07-04T15:32:09Z Classic Rock. Young’s first solo album after hooking up with CS&N placed him somewhere between wistful acoustic balladeer and eco-mystic. Inspired by actor Dean Stockwell’s green-themed film script of the same name, After The Gold Rush was evocative and achingly beautiful. It was largely set to spare piano and strummed guitar, with Young’s disquieting lyrics echoing the uncertainties of a new decade.

Though Universal had already released a 12-song 20th Century Masters - The Millennium Collection: The Best of Scorpions in 2001, and more than two and a half hours on 1997's 33-track Deadly Sting: The Mercury Years, Bad for Good: The Very Best of the Scorpions does live up to the title  .

This album was not released, however, likely due to the Warner Bros. release of The Very Best Of Prince, and Prince even abandoned plans for a Summer tour, as he did not want to appear to be promoting the Warner Bros. A re-release was planned in the UK for 22 November 2010, using a new slipcover; this re-release did not take place, but the new slipcover has been included on digital releases of the album since this time. The album reached number 66 on The Billboard 200 and number 72 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart. It fared much better in Europe, reaching number 1 in the Irish albums chart, number 2 on the UK Albums Chart, number 3 in the Album Top 100 in the Netherlands, as well as top ten positions in Germany and France. It was certified Platinum by RIAA on 21 September 2002.
