Lullaby of Broadway" is a popular song with music written by Harry Warren and lyrics by Al Dubin, published in 1935. The lyrics salute the nightlife of Broadway and its denizens, who "don't sleep tight until the dawn. The song was introduced by Wini Shaw in the musical film, Gold Diggers of 1935, and, in an unusual move, it was used as background music in a sequence in the Bette Davis film Special Agent that same year. It won the 1935 Academy Award for Best Original Song

Sunny Side Up is closer to hard bop than the straight-ahead bop that characterized Lou Donaldson's '50s Blue Note records. The pair help lead the group - which also features trumpeter Bill Hardman, drummer Al Harewood and bassist Sam Jones (Laymon Jackson plays bass on two of the eight songs) - through a mellow set of standards and bluesy originals from Donaldson and Parlan.

The sunny funny tale inspired by the music of ABBA will play its final Broadway performance on September 12, 2015. On the eve of her wedding, a daughter’s quest to discover the identity of her father brings back 3 men from her mother’s past. During the hit musical’s historic fourteen year run the Broadway blockbuster became an international phenomenon. See it again or for the first time. Though kids will love the cool music and the energetic dancing, the plot can bring up some questions for the little ones. But nothing’s very explicit and the tone is cheery throughout, making it a safe family destination.
