This is a seriously excellent piece of music. For most of you it will bring back memories of "Ferris Bueller's Day Off", and well, unless you were seriously hip back in 1985 and heard it in the clubs in L.A. first, you're like most of us. I hadn't heard it until its big Ferris Bueller's debut, which is moderately unfortunate, because this was at the cutting edge of innovation back then. This really is a well-designed piece of music, with picture-perfect polish shining its rough edges. I think these boys were well deserving of the fame this song achieved. But you should really check out the albums on which this song was included. Stella and One Second are both masterpieces of the 1980s. They are light years ahead of their time for style and innovation and are quite enjoyable to sit down and listen to. I mean that! Oh Yeah is the most familiar, however, and you will never regret buying each album just for that one inclusion. But look further, Oh Yeah is a catalyst, a starter, the rest is heaven in music. These guys were SKILLED producers and musicians. Who says the '80s sucked? Check out these slabs of delight, and realize the only thing about the '80s that really sucked then and still sucks now is our limited perception of the '80s. There was more to it than MTV and Yuppies, there were moments like these. Forget about "hair metal" and listen further...
