Adventures in Utopia is the fourth studio album by Utopia. Mixing rock, pop, disco and progressive rock music styles, Adventures In Utopia achieved predicted success with the band's established fan base and some wider commercial success with the track "Set Me Free" released as a single with "Umbrella Man" as its B-side. The by then established team of Todd Rundgren, Kasim Sulton, Roger Powell and John "Willie" Wilcox wrote, performed and produced the album. All tracks written by Utopia.

Adventures In Utopia is a music studio album recording by UTOPIA (Eclectic Prog/Progressive Rock) released in 1980 on cd, lp, vinyl and/or cassette. Initially, UTOPIA was the boundary pushing vision of POP Icon Todd Rundgren - for sure his solo work is superb, interesting Pop/Rock-music (though his Soul-inspired material of the late-80's loses this listener) - For Utopia, Todd enlisted a troupe of experienced musicians to fulfill his complex musical ideas (at the time, Todd was obsessed with the Yes album 'Fragile'.
Todd Rundgren's Utopia (album). Todd Rundgren's Utopia is the debut album by the American band Todd Rundgren's Utopia. Rundgren (who was primarily a pop musician at the time) had decided to delve into progressive rock. Putting together several musicians, including three keyboardists, the album covers a variety of styles including funk, jazz, classical and even avant-garde music.

Utopia is the second of two self-titled albums by the rock group Utopia (the other being Todd Rundgren's Utopia). It was released in 1982 (see 1982 in music). It was also their only album for Network Records. During the composing phase of this album, Kasim Sulton had left to pursue a solo career, and Doug Howard from the band Touch was brought in on bass. Howard co-wrote two songs on the album, "Feet Don’t Fail Me Now" and "I’m Looking at You But I’m Talking to Myself"
Wrong Planet wrote the blueprint for Utopia Mach II, but the group didn't deliver the polished, radio-ready follow-up Adventures in Utopia until two and a half years had elapsed. Granted, leader Todd Rundgren kept busy in the interim, but it was an abnormally long time between records. As it turns out, the wait didn't matter, since Utopia delivered a record that was quintessentially 1980 - a shiny, buffed album every bit as pop as The Hermit of Mink Hollow, but considerably less introspective and altogether ready for action.
