Ernie Rhodes originally did this on his first release called This Journey, My Mission. And now with his 2nd effort, The Orbital Effect, Ernie plans to make his knowledge known about coming full circle with his journey and mission, and making a stellar 2nd effort from those realizations. Ernie covers various topics on this release. His passion of doing the rap game right appears on the thunderous lead off single Renaissance Man, and follows it up on The Works (Get Movin) and on Do Better/Damage & Stress

The Blue Album (released 21 June 2004) is the seventh studio album from the British electronica duo Orbital. It includes their single "One Perfect Sunrise". The album was released on CD and LP formats. Blue Album's title recalls the informal names of Orbital's first two, self-titled albums, known colloquially as the Green Album and the Brown Album. You Lot" samples speech by Christopher Eccleston from Russell T Davies' The Second Coming. Blue Album at Metacritic.

Orbital - The Blue Album. Updated, Thursday, 12 Aug 2004 12:30. The Blue Album' is Orbital's final release. The band who are most emblematic of the 1990s music revolution have decided to call it a day, and it's tempting to describe it as the end of an era. The duo came from the rave scene of the late 1980s, famously taking their name from the M25 ring-road that was the route to the illegal outdoor parties where it all began.

2 Renaissance Man. 3:48. 3 The Works (Get Movin').

Orbital's swansong, The Blue Album - their seventh- is billed, worryingly, as a culmination of their 15-year run- which, at least conceptually, implies a grab bag of token nods to better-realized ideas, or an unnecessary Cliff's Notes version of their career. Thankfully, it's instead a fitting footnote, one that leaves a much better final taste in our mouths than the mostly disastrous The Altogether - a record so misguided that it seems to have cloaked its underrated predecessor, Middle of Nowhere, in an ill-deserved shadow of post- In Sides disappointment. More than anything else, however, The Blue Album is reminiscent of Orbital's first two self-titled records, more commonly known as the Green and Brown albums. Sparks collaboration "Acid Pants" is an old-school, almost tribal banger, while the foreboding, abstract "Lost" sounds like an early effort from the Warp camp.
