Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, With A Little Help From My Friends) set the album up like a concept album but that just totally disappears and pops up at the end of the album. But, even disregarding that fact, there are only a few enjoyable songs for me on this album which are 'Within You Without You', 'Lovely Rita' and 'A Day In The Life'. I respect it's success as The Beatles were creative geniuses that started out making love songs and grew to making mature and more creative pieces but enjoy all of their work with only small exceptions. This album just happens to be one of them.

For the fourth time in the UK, no single was lifted from the album and this also held true in the US. The album was also not banded, encouraging the listener to play it all the way through, pausing only to turn the disc over. Not only was the music different, exciting and colourful so too was the way it was delivered. The glossy double wallet featured the guys in their Pepper uniforms surrounded by images of people they either admired or were interested in whilst on the back of the sleeve there were the lyrics to all the songs.
Cynthia Pepper, Actress: Miss Congeniality 2: Armed & Fabulous. Though her TV life was relatively short, baby boomer fans still hold a strong, sentimental fondness for actress Cynthia Pepper. An irresistible Barbie Doll TV version of Sandra Dee at the time of her brief small screen reign, the pert, pretty and pixieish actress with the cutest slight overbite proved to be a lovely fresh-faced by-product of the. I think every album was a step toward Dark Side of the Moon," keyboardist Rick Wright said. We were learning all the time; the techniques of the recording and our writing was getting better. As a culmination of their inner-space explorations of the early 1970s, the Floyd toured the bulk of Dark Side in Britain for months prior to recording. Producer George Martin described Rubber Soul as "the first album to present a new, growing Beatles to the world," and so it was. The moptops were evolving in remarkable ways. Drive My Car" is a comic character study of a sort not previously in the Beatles' repertoire.
Bluesbreakers also marked Clapton’s first time singing lead vocals with the cover of Johnson’s Ramblin’ on My Mind, putting him on the path to his work in Cream, Derek and the Dominoes and as a solo artist. Albert King: Born Under a Bad Sign. The Queen of Chicago Blues’ second album was her first for Chess Records, and features her signature song Wang Dang Doodle. That hit single was written by Willie Dixon, who also produced the record and played bass on several tracks alongside such session guitarists as Buddy Guy and Matt Guitar Murphy. The album evokes the juke joints of old and young on Pride and Joy and Love Struck Baby, the eaking speed and phrasing on Texas Flood and the absolute beauty of the album-closing instrumental Lenny. Released in 1983, it remains the high water mark of traditional blues albums.
The Beatles' eighth UK album caused a seismic shift in popular music. Recorded in over 400 hours during a 129-day period, Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band helped define the 1967 Summer of Love, and was instantly recognised as a major leap forward for modern music. The mood of the album was in the spirit of the age, because we ourselves were fitting into the mood of the time. The idea wasn't to do anything to cater for that mood – we happened to be in that mood anyway.
