In 1999, the first Micropoint album, Neurophonie, was released and well received in France and abroad. The popularity of this revolutionary sound was quickly captured, and Micropoint achieved fame by bringing Frenchcore to a wider range. Micropoint - Overdose United. In 2009, Radium releases an album on the Audiogenic label called - MasterPiss, which pleases his most loyal fans, as well as his new recruits. The name MasterPiss is not accidental, it is a politically incorrect phrase that allows us to know that, despite the growing competition, the Master is still behind the wheel of this great ship, which we know as French Hardcore.

This album has an average beat per minute of 149 BPM (slowest/fastest tempos: 100/215 BPM). See its BPM profile at the bottom of the page. Tracklist Neurophonie.

When i first listen this tune up, it was on party. I never understand how the hell the DJ could possibly make such good sound. After few years i got this master piece to my hand and i then light came up to my mind. This is something, like milestone, the checkpoint of the roadmap of hardcore. The "Micropoint" did the work well. It is best to listen as it supposed to be listened, in proper order. But the "LP" version invite any dj to show up the mastery. The every track is original, but when ordered, it show up the hidden story, the real motiv. When you do mix right, you will rule the dancefloor. Hm, what to say about music. Hm, "hardcore" in its pure essence, drums will kick your socks off, hihats will drill your ears... , when you will think it is over, then the real music is presented. Everybody loves Micropoint.

Haha omg. Thats a wicked Review! For me I heard this as a CD in 2002 I think. I remember because I got both this and Anesthesie International at the same time. I remember now (2008) that back then I would always subconsciously compare the two CDs. It was always clear to me; Well my opinion is that "Neurophonie" was not as clean sounding as "Anesthesie" when viewed as a whole. This album was a bit rougher around the edges and I think alot of people would prefer it that way. Alot of people prefer an artists earlier work. Just to be sure this is not a Not "harder" or "faster" side of Micropoint. But I do feel it is a somewhat "harsh" side of theirs...

Are we a community of collective morons?? Not a single comment on Micropoints "Neurophonie".. Uneducated sons of pigs. Time to put things right. I received The first white label of this record early 1998 from Dead end records. It was always an exciting experience to get records from France at that time as the music coming from there was particularly great at that time, And specifically Micropoint (of whom i have been a big fan boy from day dot) And then that fateful day came. No pre-warning, Just a double white label stating "DELP001 micropoint-Neurophonie" Instant Excitement ensued, But Christ on a bike- I was not ready for what was to come. It was like the basic tonal elements of the foundling Frenchcore sound had been split apart, reaugmented, and gene spliced back together to form this new, more streamlined, more dynamic version of anything that preceeded it. I think the overall sonic design on this album is nothing short of genius, an exuberant industrial palette of sounds that couldn't have been imagined by anyone other than Micropoint, And because the whole 4 sides have each track seamlessly blending with each other whilst the bpm's and intensity are pilled on, its a cliche, but is is an awesome journey to be sent on. Having my residency at the club north (as The Dj Producer, I clearly remember the first time i played this album, Because thats what i did. My dj set was actually me just playing all four sides of this album, and i swear it was one of my more memorable sets at north (for me anyway) Also to be noted, It is on this album that we hear for the first time the now infamous / annoying "Radium" kickdrum. Whuich is funny as i know for a fact that Denn (Al core) was the one that created it. Simply put. You are not even slightly hardcore unless you own this record. This is the Blueprint of Frenchcore. And that is Also a fact.
