Vertigo is the second studio album by the British electronica duo Groove Armada, released in 1999 on the Jive Electro record label. It contains the well-known singles "At the River" (which was previously featured on the duo's debut album Northern Star) and "I See You Baby". I See You Baby" has been used in advertisements for the Ford Fiesta and the Renault Megane, the latter of which caused a number of complaints due to the song's lyrical content.
Groove Armada's second album finds the pair expanding on the sonic range of 1998's Northern Star, spreading out to Franco-electronic pop ("Dusk, You and Me"), big-beat techno ("If Everybody Looked the Same"), and laid-back funk grooves (the masterpiece titled "At the River"). Though it often seems they're throwing change-ups more to show listeners what they can do, Vertigo achieves the effortless grace of a varied repertoire.
This album has an average beat per minute of 129 BPM (slowest/fastest tempos: 84/176 BPM). See its BPM profile at the bottom of the page. Album starts at 120BPM, ends at 130BPM (+10), with tempos within the -BPM range. Try refreshing the page if dots are missing). Recent albums by Groove Armada.

Title: Groove Armada: Vertigo. Description: "Vertigo". I own both the SACD and CD versions of this album. Comparing the two I am convinced the SACD version is vastly better. There's far more air and space around the instruments and the intricate details of the music are far clearer.
Prince may have neglected to mention it, but 1999 actually belonged to Groove Armada’s Vertigo and Moby’s Play. Along with Air’s Moon Safari, released a year earlier, they were standard-issue discs in even the most causal of music collections at the end of the 90s. These records marked the moment that dance music came good at album length, and although not every track of Vertigo was licensed to advertising (unlike Play, of course) it felt like it. Adverts have thankfully moved on, allowing Vertigo space to breath.
