UK techno DJ & producer Carl Cox born on July 29th 1962 in Barbados, he moved with his parents to Manchester, England. Does It Feel Good To You (Single). As with all Djs Carl Cox has played many styles over the years. For me his greatest period was 1991-1993, he played hardcore breakbeat at all the rave clubs and it just suited his DJing style. His second single, "Does It Feel Good to You," also reached the Top 40, and he quickly diversified by setting up his own record label (Worldwide Ultimatum) and an international DJ agency (Ultimate). The onset of a more hardcore rave sound (and the fact that he was increasingly becoming pigeonholed within it) forced Cox to spend several years reestablishing his niche. In a bit of irony, commercial successes like Cox's own steered him away from high-BPM candy-core and toward the still soulful house and techno scene.

My copy has a promo sticker on the front cover but is the same as the main release. It does however come with a release note on Perfecto Records letter headed paper:"Following last year's Top 20 hit single "I Want You (Forever)", DJ CARL COX is back with a long awaited new single. "DOES IT FEEL GOOD TO YOU" - tp be released on Perfecto Records via BMG on 27th July.To those of us in the know, CARL COX is already a familiar name and face on the club scene, and one of the most hard-working and highly respected DJ's in the country, it's rare to find a flyer that doesn't feature his name on it! As well as being popular in the UK, Carl's dj-ing career has also taken him all over Europe, Australia and the States.As you'd expect "DOES IT FEEL GOOD TO YOU" is a massive hardcore tune which with Carl's loyal following looks set to follow "I Want You (Forever)" into the charts..."
