I caught Blowfly playing live back in 1991 opening for a shock-rock, punk-funk band called "Dino Lee & the Luv Johnson" and they were great, but Blowfly also won me over. I had to have an album and lucky for me this is the one I picked up. Apart from the overtly sexual and hilarious lyrics, the backing music here is just outstanding funk (one song references members of Fishbone and Red Hot Chili Peppers, so at least one song here may feature one or more members from those bands)
