Sometimes, Al has written songs that are laugh-out-loud funny and Mandatory Fun has another example. My husband had to pull over while we were listening to this album for the first time because of "The Sports Song. We are both sports fans, and this song is hysterical.

Weird Al" Yankovic is the debut album by American parodist Alfred "Weird Al" Yankovic. The album was the first of many produced by former The McCoys guitarist Rick Derringer. Mostly recorded in March 1982, the album was released by Rock 'n Roll Records as an LP and on Compact Cassette in 1983.

Mandatory Fun is "Weird Al" Yankovic's 14th studio album, released on July 15th, 2014. The album marked the end of Al's original recording contract (originally signed with Scotti Brothers in 1982 and re-signed and transferred to other companies), and he's indicated in several interviews that it might be his last full-length album, preferring to self-release singles and EPs in a more timely manner.
