Emergency: Martial Law. After his departure from heavy metal band Picture, vocalist Pete Lovell joined an up and coming new Dutch band called Emergency. Lovell left Picture because he was frustrated about the label pushing the band to sell out and make more d melodic rock. Emergency, on the other hand, playe. melodic rock. Emergency released their debut album, titled Martial Law, in 1989 on a subsidiary of the BMG label. With its catchy hooks and prominent keyboards, you can tell right away Emergency was chasing after the same fans who put Bon Jovi and Europe on top of the charts. Sure, there’s a metal edge, but for the most part this is the kind of polished, radio-friendly melodic rock that you’d expect to find on every film soundtrack in 1989. Lovell sounds absolutely fantastic here, elevating these already solid songs to the next level.
Emergency! is the debut double album by American jazz fusion group The Tony Williams Lifetime. It was released in 1969 and was one of the first significant jazz fusion recordings. The album has commonly been regarded as a pioneering, influential, and original album in the jazz, rock, and fusion genres
EMERGENCY - Martial Law (CD). Germany Melodic Heavy. Upon its release in 1989, Martial Law received press comparisons to acts like BON JOVI and EUROPE, but one could even cite similarities to what a band like SURVIVOR was doing around that time: good, solid hard rock with "pop" sensibilities; noticeable influences traced back to the '70s; an '80s-centric prominence of keyboards; as well as tinges of heavy metal
Long time out of print, "Martial Law" is a collector's item, and thanks to him we have it here in all its glory (I never seen this CD in the blogosphere ripped at maximum quality) complete with all scans

Martial law can be used by governments to enforce their rule over the public, as seen in multiple countries listed below
Emergency - martial law, CD divebomb records 2016 bonfire 220 volt new sealed. While I'd never say that Emergency produced an album I would call essential, if you like proggy brass rock, they should not disappoint you much, but you've been warned of the cheesy BS&T side of the group. However the proghead shouldn't let not that deter him, because they (Emergency) are not quite as pompous as BS&T either.
