The Living Sisters - Eleni Mandell, Becky Stark, Inara George and Alex Lilly †have created a musical present so jubilant that it could make even Scrooge break out the eggnog. Recorded in Los Angeles, the album's 12 songs feature The Living Sisters' sterling, four-part harmonies cascading over lilting melodies that celebrate all facets of the holiday from the naughty to the nice. By 2009, they had squared away enough free time to begin recording an album with co-producer Sheldon Gomberg, and the resulting Love to Live was released by Vanguard Records in March 2010. Nearly three years later a covers EP Run for Cover appeared, including versions of songs originally by Patsy Cline, Dolly Parton, and Doris Day, and finding the trio bolstered by Alex Lilly (Obi Best), who had backed George on Bird and the Bee tours. Alex Lilly became the fourth "sister" in 2012.
