The Beatles, also known as "The White Album", is the ninth studio album by the English rock band the Beatles, released on 22 November 1968. A double album, its plain white sleeve has no graphics or text other than the band's name embossed, which was intended as a direct contrast to the vivid cover artwork of the band's previous LP Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.

Interview With The Beatles - From August 18th, 1966 To August 29th, 1966 During The Beatles 1966 American Tour. B3. I'm Gonna Sit Right Down And Cry Over You.

Lennon wrote "The Continuing Story of Bungalow Bill" about one of the Beatles' fellow guests who was visiting Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in India at the same time. Reportedly, the upper-class American rubbed Lennon the wrong way, and after he killed a tiger there, Lennon got the inspiration for a biting new song. McCartney never shied away from his love of vintage British music hall tunes. A rare late songwriting collaboration between Lennon and McCartney and one of the handful of White Album tracks to include all four Beatles. In a way, "Birthday" signals the band's return to its roots on its next project, the aborted Get Back sessions (which later turned into the Let It Be album). 18. "Martha My Dear". Martha My Dear" is so McCartney.

The Beatles (‘White Album’) was the first Beatles album to be released on the group’s own Apple Records label. Issued in both stereo and mono for the UK and in stereo for the US, the double album was an immediate bestseller, entering the British chart at number one and remaining there for eight of the 22 weeks it was listed  . Lennon translated elements of the nursery rhyme Sing a Song of Sixpence for this effort, which comes with an added eerie McCartney segment titled Can You Take Me Back? Unremarkable, but remains easy listening.

The Beatles (commonly known as The White Album) is the eponymous tenth studio album by English rock band The Beatles.

Lennon-Harrison fan Tuesday 7 April 2015. Help! Is consistently ignored on Beatles best albums compilations. The Beatles Love Songs compilation, I received for Christmas 1977. My first Beatles album, it is of course a double. I loved it and I still love the Beatles.

Lennon turns in two of his best ballads with "Dear Prudence" and "Julia"; scours the Abbey Road vaults for the musique concrète collage "Revolution 9"; pours on the schmaltz for Ringo's closing number, "Good Night"; celebrates the Beatles cult with "Glass Onion"; and, with "Cry Baby Cry," rivals Syd Barrett.

This album contained four songs by the Beatles (shown with ), the rest is Frank Ifield, popular British singer. The Beatles appeared on the bill with headliner Frank Ifield on December 2, 1962 at the Embassy Cinema in Petersborough. Despite the title, all of the songs on this album are studio recordings, and not from their only live performance together. Side 1 Please Please Me Anytime Lovesick Blues I'm Smiling Now Nobody's Darling From Me To You . Side 2 I Remeber You Ask Me Why Thank You Girl The Wayward Wind Unchained Melody I Listen To My Heart.
