EUS, Postdrome, and Saåad‘ is neither a collective band nor a solo artist, but a collaboration between three drone, ambient projects and four people. As you can likely guess from the fact that they have now released two collaborative albums, none of them really ever stopped, nor did their common debut stop existing simply because it was approached as a living organism. Of course, in between Sustained Layers and Different Streams we saw a lot of solo work published by each project. Different Streams opens with a bluesy and gloomy guitar melody over which we find layered thick and edgy drones. From then on the album gives you no rest. Mostly textural, distorted and extremely rich, the sound is certainly brought to whole new level. The mixing and mastering process was left in the confident hands of Byron r very frequent collaborator for both EUS and Saåad.
